Dreaming about Dubai is limitless, even for people holding a “Domestic Helper” or “Household Worker” visa traveling solo for a holiday. Getting a Dubai new GCC Entry Permit to Dubai was easy and smooth, based on my experience as a Visa 20 holder in Kuwait.
Last October I visited Dubai for the first time to watch the SB19 concert. I entrusted my tourist visa application to Rayna Tours. The first reason was, I am not familiar with the GDRFA Dubai platform yet. Second, Rayna has good trusted reviews and lastly – no need to deposit which other agency does.
I returned to Dubai for the Soft World Tour by LANY last January 2026, with me applying for an eVisa on my own. It was smooth and fast especially when I provided the necessary files or documents during the application.

Step-by-step guide on obtaining an eVisa for a Dubai new GCC Entry Permit.
Step 1. Create an account as an individual at gdrfad.
Step 2. Click the New Application box.

Step 3. Choose the New GCC Entry Permit among the services listed.

Step 4: To secure a new GCC entry permit for a GCC resident from Kuwait to Dubai, you should fill out the form truthfully. All fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory to fill in. This is how you can successfully obtain an eVisa in Dubai.
Part 1. Choosing GCC Residents as Person Type

Part 2. GCC Residency Details. Not all resident ID has an issuance date, like in Kuwait – it only has an expiry date. In this case, a one-year issuance date window will do. If your civil ID expiry date year is Jan 12, 2027, make the issuance date as Jan 13, 2026.

Part 3. GCC Trip Details. Fill in accordingly with your flight detail.

Part 4. GCC Sponsor Details. The sponsor type has three options: a GCC citizen, a resident, or an establishment. This is a guide for eVisa applicants holding a Domestic Helper (Article 20) visa for a new GCC entry permit for GCC residents from Kuwait. In my case, this preview sample is for a GCC citizen. Simply add the name and address of the sponsor.

Part 5. Choose Normal from the dropdown menu and fill in the rest with your passport details. Click the Search Data button, if you already applied before your details will be automatically added from Passport to Applicant Details section.

Part 6. Applicant Details: If this is your first time, you have to input details manually. No need to worry about translation. It works magic. And choose profession accordingly that reflects to your GCC residency visa.

Part 6. The contact details are important. If you have a friend in Dubai, you may add their mobile number—with their consent. Make sure to enter the address of the place where you are staying while in Dubai. If you are staying at a hotel, simply enter the establishment’s address found on booking websites such as Agoda or Booking.com. You also have to add your GCC address.

Once you are done with this step, click the “Continue” button.
Step 5. The next page involves attaching documents. Make sure that you save all scanned documents in every possible format.
Step 6. Payment. I paid a grand total of AED 252.50 for the Dubai eVisa application for New GCC Entry Permit from Kuwait plus an additional payment gateway charge of AED 7.96.
Dubai new GCC Entry Permit service is helpful for obtaining an eVisa to travel to Dubai smoothly. As a GCC resident in Kuwait, I find it easier to apply as an individual; it is very straightforward.
I hope you find this post helpful in obtaining a new GCC entry permit to Dubai, both as a tourist and as a GCC resident in Kuwait. When things settle down, go visit Dubai and see the Burj Khalifa. 🙂
