Why did I choose City Garden Grand for my luxurious staycation in Makati?

As a guest coming from a long flight, staying in a relaxed and nice space is luxurious. Making it grand for comfortable level. It just seemed ideal to choose City Garden GRAND for a luxurious staycation in Makati. The room is very spacious, and their amenities did not disappoint me.

I booked it through Agoda. From Kuwait I know I will be arriving late to Manila, so I made sure to add my friend to one of the guest names. Due to data connectivity and probably because it was the 24th of December, Grab Car’s availability was very low. For convenience, I went to the airport taxi at Bay 1 and paid 1,800 pesos for transport service from Terminal 3 to my luxurious staycation in Makati.

The spa facility for a luxurious staycation in Makati was also one of the reasons why I booked the City Garden Grand Hotel. In truth, I planned to give my friend a Body Scrub treatment as a bridal shower gift. It was a success, La Famosa Spa did great. Unfortunately for me, waxing service that day was unavailable. We had to go to Lay-Bare at Glorietta for that.

Firefly Roofdeck Restaurant is a perfect place for any occasion you can think of when spending a luxurious staycation in Makati. Firefly ticked all the boxes as a bridal shower dinner for my friend. We enjoyed it. We loved it.

It is always best to reserve a table before going up to the 32nd floor. The panoramic view restaurant is always full. As a hotel guest, I made sure to make a call. It didn’t take long before they called back to inform us that our table was ready. Our room was on the 28th floor.

I only stayed overnight at City Garden Hotel which is just a corner distance from the GRAND hotel. Lower price, smaller room but the same ambiance of comfort level.

The Encima Roof Deck Restaurant is open for walk-in guests. The perk of being a hotel guest, or rather making a table reservation, is that you can request to be seated at the perfect panoramic table with a view. The pizza was indeed delicious.
